Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field.
• Relevant certifications such as:
  • CCNA/CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Associate/Professional)
  • CompTIA Network+
  • JNCIA/JNCIS (Juniper Networks)
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) – (Preferred for managerial roles)

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in network administration, engineering, or IT infrastructure management.
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level networks (LAN/WAN/WLAN/VPN).
• Hands-on expertise with firewalls, routers, switches, load balancers, and monitoring tools.
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of:
  • Routing & Switching (OSPF, BGP, VLANs, STP)
  • Network Security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, Zero Trust)
  • Wireless Technologies (Wi-Fi 6, Meraki, Aruba)
  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting (SolarWinds, Wireshark, PRTG, Nagios)
  • Virtualization & SDN (VMware NSX, Cisco ACI)
• Familiarity with VoIP, SIP, and unified communications.

Soft Skills & Responsibilities

• Ability to lead a team of network engineers and collaborate with IT security, DevOps, and support teams.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities for policies and reports.
• Willingness to work on-call for critical network outages.

Preferred (Bonus Skills)

• Knowledge of automation & scripting (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
• Experience with disaster recovery & business continuity planning.
• Background in compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, HIPAA).
